Welcome to Odyssey ("the Application"). This Privacy Policy explains how LailApps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application.
We are committed to protecting your personal data and your privacy rights in accordance with the Google Play Store 2026 User Data Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable global data protection laws.

When you create an account or subscribe to Odyssey Pro, we may collect the following personal details:
Identity Data: Email address, display name, and profile photo (provided securely via Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In).
Purchase & Subscription Data: Transaction records, subscription status, and entitlement history processed securely through RevenueCat. Note: We do not collect or store full credit card numbers or financial credentials; all payments are directly and securely processed by the Google Play Store billing system.
B. Automatically Collected Technical & Usage Data
To deliver smooth functionality, maintain security, and enhance user experience, we collect non-identifiable technical data:
Usage Analytics: App interactions, features accessed, screen views, and session durations collected via Firebase Analytics.
Technical Device Information: Device model, operating system version, system language, unique device identifiers, and network connection status.
Crash Reports: Detailed crash logs, stack traces, and device states via Firebase Crashlytics to detect and repair bugs effectively.
C. Advertising Data
Advertising ID: We may access your device's Google Advertising ID (AAID) to display contextual, personalized, or non-personalized advertisements via Google AdMob. You can reset or restrict Advertising ID tracking at any time through your device's native settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).

To support key application capabilities, we integrate verified third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These third parties may collect and process telemetry data in according with their respective privacy policies:
Firebase (Google LLC): Used for user authentication, real-time data storage, app analytics, and automated crash logs. (Google Privacy Policy)
RevenueCat Inc.: Used for managing Odyssey Pro in-app subscriptions, receipts, and purchase validations. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to deliver monetization ads within the Application. (AdMob Privacy Policy)
Google Play Integrity API: Used to verify the authenticity of the app binary, prevent tampering, and protect against security threats or fraud.
4. Purpose & Legal Basis of Data Processing
We process your information based on legitimate interest, contract performance, and legal compliance for the following purposes:
To operate, maintain, and provide core capabilities of Odyssey.
To handle your user account, profile, and Odyssey Pro subscription entitlements.
To diagnose system errors, perform diagnostics, and release stability patches.
To analyze app performance and design UI/UX improvements.
To defend against security risks, unauthorized access, and fraudulent activities.
To satisfy legal obligations and Google Play Store policy mandates.
5. Account & Data Deletion (Google Play 2026 Compliance)
Odyssey gives you complete control over your personal data. In full compliance with Google Play Store User Data policies, we provide two straightforward ways to request full deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Option A: In-App Account Deletion (Recommended)
You can execute immediate, self-service account deletion directly within the mobile app:
Open the Odyssey app on your mobile device.
Navigate to the Profile or Settings screen (accessible via the user or gear icon in the navigation bar).
Scroll down and tap on Delete Account.
Read the confirmation prompt and tap Confirm Delete.
Upon confirmation, your account will be immediately deactivated and all stored personal data (including saved favorites, custom settings, and user profiles) will be permanently purged from our Firebase servers.
Option B: Data Deletion Request via Email
If you cannot access the app or wish to submit a manual deletion request:
Email: Send a message to support@lailapps.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Details Needed: Please send the request from the email account associated with your Odyssey account or specify your registered account email.
Processing Timeline: We will process your deletion request and permanently erase all associated personal data within 30 days of receiving your request. A written confirmation email will be sent once completed.
Data Retention Policy
Following account deletion, certain non-identifiable financial or operational records (such as Google Play transaction IDs required for accounting, tax, or legal auditing) may be retained for the minimum period required by applicable law.
6. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on your location, you hold the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information stored about you.
Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal records.
Right to Erasure: Request permanent removal of your personal information.
Right to Opt-Out: Withdraw consent for marketing, ad personalization, or analytics tracking at any time via in-app settings or device permissions.
7. Children's Privacy
Odyssey is not designed for or directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately erase such data from our databases. Parents or guardians who believe their child has shared personal data with us may contact us at support@lailapps.com.
8. Security Measures
We implement strict, industry-standard technical and organizational security controls—including Firebase App Check, encrypted HTTPS transmissions (TLS), and Play Integrity attestation—to safeguard your data against accidental loss, unauthorized access, or misuse. However, please note that no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or Google Play Store rules. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
